The zoo is very small and has animals that you could see at farms and in the wild all over New England, but it provided a few hours of fun for my young kids on a rainy day during our vacation. They did have an Asian elephant, which is something even the Philadelphia Zoo does not have. If you are a member of another zoo, see if you get a discount (Philadelphia Zoo members get 50% off entry, so for a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids (7 yo, 4 yo, and 8 mo) it cost $16 to get in and parking is free. Hard to beat that!

Fun little zoo. Not the largest but honestly probably the closest you can get to elephants if one decides to go near the edge of the enclosure. It's a nice little trip and zoo keepers have always seemed willing to answer questions.
