I just checked out of CAB a week ago after a couple month stay. It’s a nice secluded little spot in the country! The price is right, the owners are really nice and there’s only 6 spots! All full hookups with new picnic tables and fire rings. If you’re looking for activities and lots of things to do, this isn’t the place for you, if you want peace and quiet in the country, CAB is perfect.
We had a great stay at Amy's place. It was great to have full hookups and get away from the cramped conditions of the normal road stop campgrounds. Pretty view of the Iowa rolling hills.
Absolutely fantastic. A little trouble for myself at first but Amy and Chris helped me out tremendously to get setup. Very flexible with me on checkin/checkout. I was able to get my Starlink working and the hookups were great. They left wood for a fire if I wanted one and there is a picnic table and fire pit. Garbage is kept away from the camp area so no raccoons. It’s peaceful, quiet, and clean and about 30 minutes for the nearest midsize town, but 15 minutes from my family so that was perfect. There was a thunderstorm one of the mornings I was there and Chris even came up to check on me and make sure I was okay as I’m a woman traveling alone. That means so much. Landscape is beautiful and the fireflies at twilight are gorgeous. Great pricing and great value!
Chris and Amy were so kind and helpful. They worked with our stay and brought us firewood for the pit. Massena is a quiet place and I would recommend camping here.
