It's by far the best campaign spot I’ve experienced in Oregon. Highly recommend.
Very peaceful environment. You can have a cook out with the family, while enjoying the ocean view. You don't have to rent a cabin they have picnic tables with grills. You have to pay $5 for parking. It's also very clean.

These “deluxe” cabins are spectacularly sited, well heated, reasonably roomy, and a bargain considering all factors. However, the futon/couch/chesterfield and the beds are miserably uncomfortable. The beds in particular benefit from a so-called egg crate mattress top which I recommend, perhaps in multiples, with enthusiasm to any future visitors. So-called stadium cushions are likely to enjoy frequent use. (If you sleep comfortably on the ground without any padding or other mechanical insulation, as did I when I was younger, you will probably find these beds and futon to be just fine.) I was not able to learn in adequate detail from internet sources with what the cabins are supplied, so I will specify: a covered porch, an outdoor fire ring, an outdoor picnic table, a kitchen table, two chairs, a coffee table, clothes racks, a few drawers, curtains, fire extinguisher, ceiling fan, window screens, doors that lock, electricity, light bulbs, a dish drain rack, a dustpan and broom, a gas grill, a refrigerator, a microwave, a DVD player and moderately sized flatscreen monitor, plenty of hot water, an indoor flush toilet, and an excellent shower. There are no supplies of any kind to support activities of daily living. There is a faint, occasional, unreliable, cellular signal for T-Mobile and Verizon. There is no other internet access. I have no information about any other carriers. No television signal, no soap, no bedding, no pillows, no towels, no flatware, no can opener, no corkscrew, no cups, no plates, no glasses, no dishwashing liquid, no sponge, but there is toilet paper, and plenty of it. One must use carts to transfer one’s gear from one’s car to one’s cabin. It’s easy to spot first timers (for example, me), as they appear somewhat baffled. Those familiar with the cabins in the Oregon state parks can be seen briskly pulling a cart up the trail, and atop the load in the cart, or in the hands of the person pulling the cart, a covered casserole in a stainless steel vessel suitable for placement on a gas grill. Through the window I see trees and the breakers of the great Pacific. On the wide flat sandy beach, in the distance one can see other beach strollers in the haze. This is a great place, but bring with you what you need to enjoy it more.
