We stay at Deer run campsite, we have stayed in this campsite for several years and really like the area, sometimes we see a lot of wildlife and the lake has good fishing, there is a very nice playground for the kids, the camp hosts are friendly and helpful
It's a pretty good place to camp very accessible!
We liked the easy access to the water and the camp host was very nice. We prefer more trees so we are able to hang hammocks, but it was a nice area. Bathrooms were clean! That's a huge plus!
This is a great place to sleep under the stars. So many constellations are visible. If you go for a shower, I recommend you bring your own.
The view of the lake from our site was amazing.
