Caesar Ford Park Campground Introduce

Caesar Ford Park Campground, located at 210 S Stringtown Rd, Xenia, OH 45385, USA, is a newly established county-owned campground offering a range of outdoor activities.

Platform Category: Campgrounds & RV Parks

Caesar Ford Park Campground is a new (2024) facility that provides a mix of RV and horse camping options. It offers full hookups for RVs and dedicated trails for horse riding. The campground is also connected to a bike trail system, making it a versatile destination for outdoor enthusiasts. While it provides modern amenities for RVs, horse campers should be aware of strict regulations and potential issues with park rangers.

Environment:

The campground is relatively new, with plans for future expansion. It features big pull-through parking pads with 50-amp electrical service, catering to larger RVs. The park also includes a horse camp with trails, offering opportunities for horseback riding. Access to a bike trail system allows for additional recreational activities. The environment is generally pleasant, but there is some highway noise due to its proximity to a highway (approximately 1 mile away). The park's rules regarding horse camping are strictly enforced, and there have been reports of conflicts with park rangers over compliance.

Caesar Ford Park Campground offers the following services:

  • Full Hookups: 12 full hookup RV sites (at this time).
  • Horse Trails: Dedicated trails for horseback riding.
  • Bike Trail Access: Access to a bike trail system.

  • Horse Camp: Dedicated area and trails for horse camping.

Promotional Information:

Caesar Ford Park Campground in Xenia, OH, is a new county-owned campground offering full hookups, horse trails, and access to bike trails. While suitable for RVs, horse campers may encounter strict regulations. Expect some highway noise. Future expansion is planned. Nice, new (2024) county owned campground. $45 / night, 12 full hookups only at this time, more sites next year. Big pull thru parking pads 50 amps. Horse camp too with trails. Access to bike trail system. The only negative I have is some highway noise (1 mile away). If you have horses do not come here to camp. We had literally just come off the trail from a ride and the ranger got on our case about one pile of poop that was in the drive way. And they we couldn't have our horses by our campsite, eventhough in the rules if says you can have the horses there to tack up and untack. Then when we said that he claimed that we were arguing with him. On top of that when we got back we were having tack problems and my bridle broke. The Ranger on duty wouldn't let me get my horse safely under control and tied up properly before he got on us.

Not horse friendly at all. If you bring horses, make sure to bring a high pressure hose and be prepared to scrub the asphalt least you get ticketed. No ease of access for water either for horses. Would not recommend for horse trails at all.

I ended up camping down the road because I did not know this was here, and came across in the morning. This place is amazing large open free campsites, I ended up camping down the road because I did not know this was here, and came across in the morning. This place is amazing large open free campsites, hot water showers, water for water bottles, and all the power you could need plus it has a bike maintenance rack.
