2 stars for a very specific reason. Stay was for four adults and two 3 year olds. We have stayed 2-4 nights at a time off and on for the last few weeks. First night we checked in, they asked the children's age. Didn't charge for them. However an extra friend was supposed to visit for an hour but got intoxicated and we allowed her to stay in bed with us so she wouldn't have to drive to nampa. So the next two nights the charged us for her even though she wasn't staying. Only an extra 10 so we didn't argue cause she did end up unexpectedly staying the first night. Overall the tent site wasn't bad, some are kinda small and they are all grouped close together. The only worry we had was that we were not permitted to use the fire pit for a fire. However we are inbetween housing so we let it go as a minor inconvenience, as we are trying to find a budget place to sleep in a bed more then anything. First handful of stays went good. Laundry was decent priced so we've been doing weekly laundry when we stay. Wifi isn't that great so we used Hotspot. Showers and bathrooms get the job done. Warning when doing laundry, they have posted times to be closed for cleaning but they come in and close it down early even if you are still waiting for laundry, so you may get stuck waiting an hour or more to retrieve your laundry. Minor inconvenience so id just recommend doing laundry after cleaning to avoid running into their cleaning time. Our stay last week we switched from sharing one large tent that took up more space then our two new tents that we stayed in. That way my children, husband, and I had one and the friends we are trying to split funds with had another so we had less space to heat as the open space froze us out early morning. Things went great. Here's the problem, and my prompt for review and the reason I will not be going back. I wish I had taken a picture of their new sign. I walked in with enough funds for 2 nights today and they had changed things up on us, SPECIFICALLY TO GET MORE MONEY OFF US BECAUSE OBVIOUSLY WE MUST NOT BE IN A GREAT SITUATION TO BE STAYING IN A TENT FOR PARTS OF THE WEEK! They informed me that they will charge us an extra tent cost for 2 tents, even though they fit in our 1 spot just fine, and they said they will now be charging our children as 2 extra people. When I pointed out that they didnt before and knew their ages she put my attention to a screen they have in the office that not has a pop up that now says children 3 and over instead of what it had weeks prior. I have attached the screen shot of the website as it currently stands, which has not changed, proving they literally changed this just to get more money cause we've been staying frequently. There is no policy anywhere on the website or lobby about the amount of tents and it was not a problem last week. Both tents take up less square footage then the very large one we initially were using. Bottom line, it's warmer in our cars then the giant tent, and I will not be paying an extra $10 night (would be $50 for this week as I was gonna pay for today and tomorrow, our other party was gonna pay for Thursday and Friday, and then me again saturday) especially if we are charged 2 times for the tents. I am going to just go ahead and spend the money on a nightly trailer spot in nampa and avoid the extra drive since it's only $45 with a max guest of 8 people and full hookups, wifi, showes, laundry and bathroom versus 40+ to sleep in a tent. We only ended up here to budget, as most looking to stay in a tent. The only people that have stayed there that we seen our multiple stays has been somebody who appears to help with the groundkeeping and another couple who offered us to smoke meth on our very first night there. There was one lady who came and didn't even stay for the entire night. They do not be making enough money off of their tent sites to intentionally be adding costs to the people who are adding to their regular weekly income just because they keep coming back. If you go by and see them empty minus one tent, you know why.
I love it here, it's like camping every day with family, Everyone in the office and the the maintenance people are awesome ππΌ They are all kind and very nice compared to other places I've lived. Everything is clean and odor free compared to other places.
Well all the people that live in the RV park are tattletale so you better be careful of what you do or you'll be tattled on and will be kicked out for a stupid reason. In all honesty the manager is nice but yet not too nice because he is not very understanding of certain things of why things have happened the way they did. And also I might add the drunks and druggies that live there start fires and actually have some that knows who started it. And also there is a lady that works in the office that gives attitude a lot.
