Callies Campground has the best pizza in the entire area. We drive from Montgomery County to Powell County on a regular basis for the pizza. It is not greasy and the toppings are just the best ever. If you have never tried it you are definitely missing out. The staff is amazing as well as the food. I highly recommend even if you are a county away like us. Keep up the amazing work.

I have not stayed at the Campground so I can't review it. I know MANY friends that have stayed and love it, they show me pictures and talk about how great it is. What I can review is their fantastic pizza, it is fresh, hot and delicious. If given the choice for a pizza I would gladly choose theirs. They are best I have had in a long time.

We use Callie's when we bring clients through the area, it's always an amazing experience and they go out of their way to make sure our group is taken care of. Callie's also does an amazing job supporting local events that not only bring more people into the area and showing them to the beauty of the Red River Gorge area, but also increasing tourism and economic impact in the area. Also make sure you try their pizza, it's amazing.

The campground itself is nice and well maintained. The showers and bathrooms were clean and hot. However, the residents aren’t nearly as good. There was a great live band, but music past 10:00 PM when a lot of people had a long day hiking is a bit much. Then add on people blasting music and yelling until 2:00 AM… you’re not in for a good time. The place could be great, but there doesn’t seem to be much enforcement of rules or any common courtesy.
