Very nice and quiet campground, surrounded by puget sound. Lower loop campground sites are unleveled and cramped a bit, but still with a nice view from most of them. Upper campground loop is more suitable for bigger rigs. Beach is accessible from a steep walk about 10-15 minutes.

What a beautiful tranquil relaxing Beach. We saw a pot of whales out in the water, magnificent. Although we did not camp, it looks like a great place for camping. I can't wait to go back

Absolutely loved our stay at Camano Island State Park camping area! The spacious sites were perfect for our tent, and we appreciated the peaceful atmosphere with respectful campers all around. The toilets were spotlessly clean, and the heated showers were a nice touch. The rangers were incredibly friendly and helpful. With plenty of trails and beach access nearby, there was never a dull moment. Plus, the on-site garbage disposal made cleanup a breeze. Just a heads up to fellow campers, we encountered a situation where someone who seemed high on drugs was in the women’s bathroom at 3am, so stay cautious. Overall, a fantastic experience and we can't wait to return!

Beautiful area with a nice beach to walk, or watch the sunset. Trails are nice. Boat launch. Clean restrooms. If you are camping with an RV, check the site size to be sure you fit. Most sites have trees and some privacy. We visited in the fall, quiet during the week, very busy and full on the weekends.

This is a great area for walking along the Puget Sound. We were visiting family and they have a sauna they built in a trailer. We brought it to the park and sauna'ed then jumped off the socks into the freezing cold water. The bathroom/ changing rooms at this park are so clean, big and nice to use.
