Camelot by the Sea in Myrtle Beach

What a fantastic place, The views of the ocean are amazing. The rooms are very well equipped with everything you need. The 2 bedroom ones are very spacious and comfortable with 2 bathrooms . You have 2 good sized swimming pools which one is heated + a lazy river a children's paddling pool and 2 hot tubs one indoor and one outdoor. There's plenty of parking on site.

Camelot sits in a wonderful location, and has some serious potential however it has passed its prime and has become a bit dated. The room we stayed in needs a renovation and redesign with doors not closing, lamp switches not working, closet doors that appear to be the wrong size that they will not close and tile spearing from the floor and wall. The prices were cheaper than the other newer buildings on the strip so it was still a nice place for a few days. Still it has a lot of potential with a little TLC.

Of my 51 years coming down here, this is the best place I've ever stayed!! The location was easy to find, set amongst a area of nighttime establishments, food spots and stores; grocery and souvenir. The building is a beautiful yellow faced front with parking inside instead of across street like most others. 2 hot tubs, a heated pool and a cool pool, 2 small pools and a cool big red umbrella with water running off it for kids, hey I'm a big kid! A nice walkway to sand and a very clean beachfront. The room was 16 steps from our car, oh man I fell in love with it. Nicely decorated, 2 queen beds, a pull out couch, and our own balcony. Everything else was provided, but I like to use plastic cups and plates, so we just used silver ware. Staff was cool and when we had a problem with toilet, they answered promptly and fixed it. I can't say enough about it! I am going to do my best to get this place from now on. Oh yea, I forgot, there is a beautiful park next door, with checker top tables and iron swings, and a fountain, great place to video sun coming up while drinking my coffee. So close to the pier and grand stand also!! Perfect spot my fellow myrtle beach longers.!!

It was a great vacation for my family of 4. The condo was clean and nicely decorated. The lobby staff was professional and very helpful with replacement of bath and pool towels. So many activities. There was free putt putt golf and alot of fun family activities and local food venues walking distance and free dvd movie rental. The lazy Susan and jacuzzi was heated and fun even at Christmas time…we had a blast and the best Christmas ever walking the beach and going to the local wax museum and race track. We will definitely be back!!!
