We stayed at Camp A While on our way to Kentucky. We enjoyed our stay over nite. This camp ground is beautifully kept. Very neat and tidy, and a bonus now all decorated for Halloween. Owners love their jobs and you can tell! They are pleasant, helpful and offer a great little store full of goodies. Decided to stay there on our way back. We were running late and gave them a call. So helpful and even offered to help us park. Will be back in the Spring and definitely staying there!

We recently stayed here. It has the best stocked camp store I’ve ever seen. They have everything from homemade dog treats to camper supplies to groceries and toys. They also have meat from a local butcher and baked goods from a bakery delivered. The game room has new games and a couple gambling machines for the adults which was fun. The sites are very clean with crushed gravel that prevent a lot of dirt from getting into your camper. Some of the sides are on the smaller side, but we had 107 and it was huge. We went after Labor Day, so the pool wasn’t open, but it looked big. They also have a nice nature walk down or up a steep hill. The only downfall was the noise coming from the tractor-trailer trucks going up and down the hill right next to the campground. Personally, it didn’t bother us, but I know it might bother some. Also, there isn’t much around the area. We did find a nice Irish pub called O’Neills. That was about 20 minutes away. That had very good food. We also did the pioneer tunnel tour and that was really interesting. Bring whatever food and alcohol you want for your stay because there isn’t anything super close. Me would definitely stay here again.

This was our first time here and had a great time! Definitely one of my top 5! The people were incredible friendly and helpful! The camp store was the nicest I ever seen! It did get a little loud with the trucks going up and down Rt 25 but we got used to it. We will be back for sure!

This is one of the nicest campgrounds we’ve been to and we’ve stayed in many. Everything from the service, beauty and amenities are amazing. The easy access from I-81 is great. I’m so glad we found this wonderful stop. We were only there for a night. It would have been nice to stay much longer. The owner helped my husband pull into our site. There aren’t many tat could handle our 45-foot motorhome and our toy vehicle. We didn’t have to disconnect.

This is a great campground that is very well run and everything is clean the pool super nice. The owners are always helpful and there’s lots of nice dogs and of course a crick with waterfall. I don’t understand that someone would give this place a bad review without ever having been here? That Erik fella did just that it was totally uncalled for. Great place you should try it!

We loved our campsite overlooking Pine Creek and the birds that were singing from the trees (we are birders and loved hearing the orioles and warblers). We also walked and enjoyed the mile-long nature trail, which is well maintained. We were impressed with the beauty of the surroundings, the cleanliness of the facilities, and the provisions in the store. The owners, Michelle and Rob, are kind and clearly work hard to keep the place running smoothly, and they obviously care about their campers' experience, while establishing a sense of comfort and community for anyone who visits. We highly recommend this campground!

Nice campground- well maintained- but there are a few things to know- first- the noise from the tractor trailers going up and down the mountain is extreme- like louder than any road traffic I have heard- using the engine brake on the way down and shifting like 8-10 times as they climb- also 90% of sites are seasonal- not only does that limit site choice- but everyone seems to know everyone except for you. If I could escape the noise somehow I would definitely go back- but there is no escaping the noise and the sites further away from the road are all seasonal :-(

Great RV park near (but not too near) the interstate. You can hear big rigs when they hit their jake brakes, but the sound of running water in the campground mostly drowns it out. Staff very helpful.

Nice camp area. Campground is nicely kept. Nice store with anything that you might need while there. Clean restrooms and showers. The only negative was the loud trucks that ran all night long.
