Amazing camp with some of the best staff! Make sure you hike over and check out the Cub scout camp with the space station, pirate ship, safer boats, gold mine, and Fort. The whole place is epic a hidden gem that more troops need to go to. Puts a lot of the big camps to shame and they allow you to actually have fun! Great food as well. Easy waiter server system that ensures you spend more time enjoying the camp less time cleaning. First aid Mary checked on us every night and gave advice to prevent allergies and sicknesses from starting or getting any worse. She also led the best vesper I have ever heard in 24 years of Scouting. Kayla was amazing with our younger scouts in the first year program, I had tons of positive comments about her teaching. Mike is a great director and gave us an amazing tour. I hope he can continue to grow this camp! Chase was an amazing program director. Every time you saw him he was bringing the fun with him in is jokes and how he holds himself. Levi is an amazing aquatic director as well. The troop parents and kids both agree that these are some of the best staff we have every had the pleasure to be on summer camp with!
Great camping experience for my troop's summer camp in 2024. The 3 hour drive was worth it. Very laid-back and different camping experience from other camps I've attended in my 50 years with this troop ~ laid-back in the best possible way. Food was great and there was lots of it. Dining hall and trading post have AC. Waterfront features the "Wibit," an inflated floating obstacle course, which was great fun. It is a shame I can only give 5 stars as I would like to give way more.
It's a great camp wonderful experience good camp staff
Went here and loved it, will recommend the camp to every single person I meet. Great clean camp and great camp sites. Stay clear of a staff named conner, I went here to get one Merrit Badge and this guy didnt want to sign it off because i "wasn't nice to him so he isnt gonna be nice to me" which is very odd because I had never even spoke to this guy except one time where he was mad and I told him to chill. I had to go to his supervisor Justin who completely blew off connor and signed it off for me. Connor ruined that day for me but this place is amazing non the less.
Very awesome camp. Learned many things the 8 years I was there. Gained friendships that will last a lifetime. Can't wait to visit again.
