My first time attending a Boy Scout camp, and yes I was an adult for my first visit. My son (11) absolutely loved it! He did not use or ask for his cell phone once for the entire 7 days we were there. Also we have been home for 3 days and he still hasn't turned on his video games once, he just keeps telling us he wants to go back to camp. He loved the freedom and hanging out with his friends but his favorite was the archery range where he earned a badge and got to learn how to shoot a long bow.
Staff was very helpful and friendly. The food was great the only minor problem was seating at the dinning hall. The benches were a bit close together for adults especially if people were wearing backpacks or had them anywhere but under the tables. The weather was even better we only had a few light showers one day the rest of the week was beautiful. Hopefully we will get a chance to return again in the next few years.
Awesome camping experience for all scout ages. Programs and Merit Badges galore to satisfy all scouting needs.
