Location: right on the water in a quiet area. Cabins: very clean and simple. If it's hot bring fans. Facilities: boat rentals ( you need a licence), 14' aluminium15 HP with cushion seats. They have a BBQ shelter and seating. Free firewood and bonfire area. Staff: very friendly, welcoming and helpful.
Super nice place ...will be back! Gas station next door (great price) with store and restaurant...very affordable camp. For a week stay! If younlike fishing its on rice lake and 20 min to peterbough!
Owners are super nice. They'll assist with anything you might need. Had to borrow cinnamon for French toast =) There is no AC so we improvised with box fans & wire hangers in the windows. It gets cool at night so we had no trouble sleeping. I recommend a secondary fan for the living room area to keep air flowing. We used an oscillating fan to keep the peace among 6 of us. There's a picnic area with grills to use which was really great. Scenic area. Not far from town. If you wanna catch bluegill, you're gonna have a great time. Theres also paddleboards/paddleboats for use.
