We got there after dark and it was a little confusing as to how to get around and finding the campsite. Roads to get there are one line with barely enough space for one car at a time. Then at the campsites there is enough space for one car and any extra cars have to park at the entrance parking area.
This is a fun camping location. The roads are steep but the camp grounds are pretty nice. Each camp has a small covered pavilion with a sink and potable running water. The tent sites are flat and clean. There is a decent size amphitheater for group meetings. The pavilion is nice with plenty of seating for meals. There is a lodge but is it really just a wooden shelter to keep the critters out of your food. There is an upper level people could stay in but it is stifling hot. We went there for a young men’s camp and it served out needs well. I did hear they they will be expanding the lodge to include an actual kitchen. This will be nice since we had to keep all food in coolers and bins. We cooked in camp chefs. The kitchen upgrade will make this an amazing camp location for youth groups.
Beautiful setting for a Girls Camp or family reunion. Easy to find but still secluded and private. The campsites are all well developed with flat tent pads, covered pavilions, picnic tables, fire rings, and sinks with potable water. The lodge is lovely and bathroom facilities are nice and clean. Camp hosts were friendly and welcoming. Lots of wildlife--saw deer, rabbits, snowshoe hare, lots of different birds. You've got to be careful about food in campsites, as there are skunks, raccoons, and bears in the area. Camp is located on the side of a mountain, and it's a steep walk from the bottom to the top. Docking one star because all bathroom facilities are at the top end of camp. It would be really nice to have a bathroom down by the lower campsites for easier access, especially at night.
An amazing nature center camp.Trails are groomed for both hikers and vehicles. Campsites include running water to sinks, individual tent spots good for a four person tent, and well built fire pits as well as a covered area for eating.
Nice girls camp the church really put some effort into it. Flushing toilets and nice showers
