Customer Reviews
Would be great if it weren't for the motorcycle convoy that runs laps around this place after 11:30pm. They all dont seem to care because they treat it as farmland. So you can hear all the traffic and cars, not peaceful at all.
To your average person, Camp Coyote Outdoor Group Campsite may just be that. A fairly run-of-the-mill campground reservable for events. It's features and amenities are fairly standard. It has a field. It has a large gravel area for pitching tents. It has not one, but two outhouses. It has a fire pit with by four wooden benches. It's surrounded by beautiful forested trails. And last but not least, it has a covered area with six picnic tables. But to LARPers in the BC Lower Mainland, Camp Coyote is an indispensable venue for Live Action Roleplay games. When tents, Gazebos, Pavilions, and other temporary structures are set up, this place with otherwise three structures becomes a bustling town. It's forest becomes a land rife with magic and danger. It's covered picnic table area becomes a lively tavern. Camp Coyote becomes a place where stories are made and told. It's where friendships are forged and battles are waged. It's been both Compass Rose, and Azra's Crossing, and I cannot wait to see what character it plays next. But most importantly, It's a place for weirdos and misfits to escape from everyday life's hardships and participate in one of humanity's most beautifully odd and unique hobbies. Thank you to Camp Coyote, and to all those who maintain it.
It's a beautiful space and the outhouses are well maintained.
