Camp Cozy Park is Elk River’s hidden gem. From County Rd 35, turn on Waco and follow the paved road down to a cul de sac. You’re almost there. Keep going straight down the dirt road. There is a “parking lot” with a turn around. If you follow the outer loop, it’s about a mile. The grass trails are wide and well maintained. It’s a beautiful park, with meadow and wooded trails that skirt the Elk River; but I think people get confused when they reach the end of the paved road. Just keep going straight. A short stretch of dirt road and you’re there.

There wasn't any parking, and there are a lot of private properties surrounding, so felt kind of uncomfortable - didn't want to accidentally wander onto private land! Overall it was a nice short walk-around.

Short loops around a prairie. Picnic tables. Down a dirt road.
