Customer Reviews
Very quiet, big and private campsites . We're other campers were closed by But not so close ,that you could see or hear them. Many of the campsite have a creek close by or running through. Amazing hiking and Mt bike trails. The terrain was easy to walk along. Very clean and maintained restrooms. Very dog friendly. Affordable pricing for the campsite. Some open sky views amongst all the trees.
We stayed at site 15. The sites were a decent size throughout the campground. Our site was huge, but there weren't many decent flat spots for a tent. Another downside was how far away the car was parked. There were two vault toilets that were very well maintained. The trees are huge and beautiful, not to mention the stream that goes through the camp. Not much cell service here but town is only a ~5 min drive. Centrally located to Mount Hood activities. Overall we loved out stay!!
Amazing camp spot! Quiet and spacious sites. We had #14 which on the creek and was large enough for 2 large tents and a kitchen area. Site #13 was smaller but had a secret area in the back that was perfect for a large tent right on the creek. Restrooms kept stocked and cleaned.
Highly recommend camp #25 it's near the entrance and has this historic gem. If you like cooking outdoors this camp is for you. This thing has amazing air flow and cooks like a grill and an oven! Pretty nifty and it's 87 years old! My friends played midevil tavern music and it was definitely a vibe. 👌
Great location with well maintained sites! Stayed at site 16 which is right next to Camp Creek. Couldn’t even hear the road noise, just the Creek. Toilets are vault and the water is from a hand pump but still a great place.
Amazing camp spot! Quiet and spacious sites. We had #14 which on the creek and was large enough for 2 large tents and a kitchen area. Site #13 was smaller but had a secret area in the back that was perfect for a large tent right on the creek. Site 15 is huge and could be combined with 14 for maximum space. Both on the creek. Site 18 and 16 are also very nice and spacious. Restrooms kept stocked and cleaned.
Federal passes not accepted. Operated by a private profit making organization (Alaska Recreational Management, Inc.). Rough road into campground. There is a self-service pay station at the entrance. Pit toilets, trash cans and drinking water available. Campsites had fire rings and tables. No cell service.
