We love camp Cullom as a whole. The observatory is top notch and the volunteers are very knowledgeable and professional. If you like stargazing it’s worth a drive.
Absolutely my favorite boy scout camp. Lots of wild life, great lodge, the Ranger is incredible (hoppy). Perfect venue for a Klondike derby sledge race. Just look at this hill behind the lodge. So much history here...
Great disc golf course. I have been playing here for several years. The course is always maintained and in good repair. The tee boxes could use some upgrading. The course is mostly in the woods with dense overgrowth. If you are in the area well worth the visit.
Ww had our daughters open house in the nature center. Nice clean building with lots of things to read and check out. Hoppy does a great job on making sure you feel welcome.
You can get lost on the trails. Drove out of camp late at night and trails could be marked a little better for first time visitors... Even with daylight, I got lost so imagine the possibility when it is pitch black out...and raining! My son stepped in a puddle and gave the quote of the weekend when asked why he did so..."Because I was happy!"
We love taking our dogs to explore the various trails at CC. Their maple syrup in the spring is awesome! Great hidden gem in Clinton County!
Beautiful trails through a nice example of a medium- aged Indiana hardwood forest. Good wildlife viewing opportunities, as well as a nice prairie restoration area. Activities such as disc golf and playground equipment add to the experience.
