Customer Reviews
I went to camp dakota way back in 2008 I think it was for my a surprise birthday trip for my boyfriend, I got a bunch of his friends to come and we stayed in the yurt with the ping pong table! We seriously had the best time! All the different courses they had for paintball was so much fun, we played against each other and against other guests, i think there was a bachelor party there as well. It was great. Then we grilled some dinner and chilled out. Oh and someone abandoned their dog :( he chilled with us the whole time and when no one claimed him by the time we left, I left my number with main office and took him home! No one ever called! But he was a good boy! Great experience all around And now I'm looking into getting my son a birthday package for his 13thday birthday!
Paintball was very disappointing. We went with a party of 6. When we arrived, there was another party of 6 and had a great time for about 20 mins. Things got sour when about 20 older teens showed up to play and the paintball turned into chaos as there was literally 1 referee for over 30 people. The older teens were dis-obeying the rules and shooting young kids at point blank range which ruined all the fun for everyone. Also the rental guns kept getting jammed and the masks severely fogged up to the point you cannot see anything. Won't go again as there isn't enough referees to control such big crowds and the paintball field is not large enough to support so many players at once that they knowingly reserve in advance. Very disappointed.
Fun adventure awaits! Great place to come with a group; our group enjoyed all the activities but gellyball was the favorite! Only downside is that they do not have flush toilets.
I recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at Camp Dakota with my Family Reunion! Staff was amazing, so helpful and so pleasant!! They deserve lots of positive recognition. It’s not my first stay at Camp Dakota and I must add that their services are consistently wonderful. Order their pizza made on site and delivered to your site!! So many activities for all ages and levels. We had babies to age 90! We always have such a great time!!
We recently had a family reunion at Camp Dakota with 13 kids and eight adults, we had a blast. Our kids range from two years old to 14 years old and there were activities for all of them. Bobby and Phantom, we’re very accommodating and made sure that we had a wonderful time while we were there. Definitely recommend this place for friends and family alike!
Our time at Camp Dakota was absolutely fantastic! There were so many fun activities for all ages — we loved RV camping in the beautiful forest setting, digging for coins (such a unique and exciting experience!), trying our hand at archery, and tackling the aerial course, which was thrilling and so well set up. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made everything even more enjoyable. You can really tell they care about making sure everyone has a great time. We can’t wait to come back and create even more amazing memories!
