Great little place to stay, We stayed in the Chalet for a long weekend, I love that you can sleep with the door open and listen to the River all night long, there is a little road noise but that's ok. One piece of advice for the owners , get a king size bed that is a little bit more firm. The bed is a little to small for 2 people and very soft. Other than that Great place to relax.
Really cool place right on the water!!! Owners were very friendly and helpful. Never bothered us after getting everything setup and paid for. We had a lil hiccup on their end but they quickly took care of it and made it extra worth it for us. House was amazing and super clean! Minutes from downtown Ashville and minutes from multiple trails and hiking spots. Bring your fishing poles!!!! We will definitely be back here someday. Mainly bc of how accommodating the hosts were.
Incredible stay( Paddlers Paradise Glamping cottage). I’m an outdoorsy person and I love the whitewater scene, especially in NC. This place was absolutely incredible and I was so sad to leave. It was pretty, it was comfortable, it was a good price. The only things I could complain about are kind of expected from being out in the wilderness. The WiFi, is spotty, so sometimes cell service serves better. It’s hard to keep bugs out, especially moths at night, so watching tv sometimes small bugs like ants and moths would make their way in. Overall I could not recommend this place enough. It’s genuinely beautiful and I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Even though this campground was small it was peaceful. They have a shower just a small walk from where you set your tent up. They also have a little beach area behind it in the river. My husband found two colorful "gemstones" there.
Camp Driftwood did not disappoint. We stayed in the White Water Chalet. Very rustic, but perfect. And the views. Wow! We just wanted a relaxing weekend. It was very cold, but we still enjoyed being outside. My husband fished. I walked the trails, bundled up and sat on the deck. Would love to go back in warm weather. 30-45 minutes from lots of places. Our chalet was clean and warm and roomy. Had every thing we needed. Did I mention the view? The only negative… street noise from bedroom. But it won’t stop me from coming back.
