Dedicated Staff: A key service is the professional and positive staff who are committed to delivering programs safely and engagingly. Their expertise in various badge areas and youth leadership is invaluable.
Waterfront Activities: Given the typical amenities of a large scout camp, access to a lake or pond for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, and fishing activities would be a standard offering.

We had an incredible time at Cuboree at Camp Durant. The staff were all incredibly professional and positive with great attitudes. They definitely exceeded my expectations. Nice waterproof semipermanent tents w/cots, and really nice facilities. They run an amazing camp that keeps the fun in mind while making sure everyone is safe.
Extremely pleased with Camp Durant. I’m a new Adult leader with Scouts and just completed Winter Blast 2025 with our Troop. It was an amazing adventure and even with the cold it’s been a great place for the scouts to get some good training and development. The vastness of different badge opportunities available at Camp Durant are very great. Camp sites are well maintained too.
Camp Durant is the best scout camp in the state. The facilities are excellent. Clean bathrooms, great learning space, and far and away the best dining hall around. The staff is energetic and truly care about the camp and the campers. Only problem is the heat and bugs in the summer.
The camp is top notch, they have a bit of everything, this is the perfect place to enjoy the great outdoors. I hope it was open to the public all year round.
Lots of everything for kids to do. Great friendly people who really care. I aways find it had to leave.
