Fantastic campground and we have a wonderful time at Woodbadge
Camp Everglades is cool. Composte outhouses. Hand pump well water. The swamp trail is a good hike. Pack 69 cleared out campsite Dove and then Hawk, main site for Daytime events and evening campfire for Thunderbird district campout. GO pack 69.
Primitive camping at it's best, with composting toilet! Not open to the public, you must contact Boy Scouts of America, South Florida Council for details.
Beautiful unspoiled acreage in the heart of the Everglades National Park. This is an area reserved for use by BSA - it can't be reserved for use by the public.
Very nice campgrounds
We visited on a late Thursday afternoon in Dec 2024. We were on a guided tour for the Everglades and saw the sign for the camp and asked to stop real quick so we could take a quick picture. All 3 of our children are in scouts and my wife and I are both wood badge scouters. So it was really cool to see Camp Everglades right in the middle of the National Park. Even if it was only the entrance gate.
