Awesome place for if you don’t mind primitive camping. We had the place to ourselves, probably do to threatening weather. Rain came and went and it turned out to be a perfect night. The place was littered with petrified wood. It doesn’t burn too good but makes for a nice souvenir. I would love to come back again next time I’m in the area. Zion campsites were booked and I’m thankful.
Lots of places to camp along this road, some close to the rim and others a bit further away. Plenty of space in between and gorgeous views of Zion National Park in the distance. There is one restroom further up the road, no other amenities. Very peaceful and quiet. We are definitely coming back here.
This is not a public campground. Reservations can only be made through the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints camping website and you must have an LDS Account password.
Amazing Mountain Biking and Camping, Great place for Biking. would recommend a high clearance vehicle or a shuttle.
Very nice high desert camping. Lots of cedars and other low growing brush . lots of cactus. The views were spectacular. Beautiful Red rock peaks and really cool views from the edge of the cliffs at the top of the mesa. Lots of trails for 4 wheelers.
Dry camping only with incredible views from anywhere on the mesa.
