Great learning experience for the class.
This camp got me to love camping. The staff and faculty are the most supportive and fun people I had ever met. It's a long way out and you lose cell service, but that really helps you to connect to nature and God. It is also a great facility to rent out during the off season because everything is closed and heated with electricity. Great for a family retreat or reunion.
Great facilities to escape from the digital world for a few days. A nice lake view from the porch of Discovery Lodge is a great way to start the day and was only topped by camping on the beach, lake-side. The trails can be a little underwhelming, but the Lodge offers a little but of civilization to make for a more comfortable trip.
pretty terrible food and experience, everything HAS to relate back to god when we just wanna have a good time
My kid went here and absolutely terrible camp. She hated every second of it, the food tasted horrible it was inedible. They made her hike even though she has a medical condition.
