Camp Kettlewood

Absolutely blown away with our experience at camp Kettlewood for our wedding this last September. Not only were the grounds beautiful, the cabins and rooms cozy, but every step of our process was wonderful. Can’t tell you how many people said it was the best and coolest wedding they have ever been to- so if you’re looking for a place to be unique and blow them away- this is it! We plan on coming back every year for our anniversary. Thanks Kettlewood for making our day seriously the most perfect day!

Camp Kettlewood and its owners exceeded all expectations for our August '24 wedding. We rented the entire camp, and from start to finish, the experience was exceptional. The owners were considerate, attentive, and incredibly helpful. The campsites were spotless, beautifully decorated, and adorably themed. We had over 45 fellow on-site guests, including non-campers and children, all of whom slept comfortably. Every detail, from the well-maintained cabins and trailers to the peaceful oak trees and the bugling sandhill cranes (and one very active beaver), reflected the devotion and vigorous effort Simona and Jeremy put into the camp. Kettlewood’s perfect wilderness atmosphere made our wedding weekend unforgettable.

Had an amazing time here. Weather was so nice I slept in the hammock the first night. The cabins I stayed in were really nice and had lots of cool antique Boy Scout decorations. The outdoor shower is my new lifestyle and I won’t settle for anything less, it’s amazing. Lots of things to do inside and outside the camp. 10/10 Also Jeremy and his wife and super nice. Soon as you meet them you feel like family.

Recently, I had the privilege of staying at the Deer Run cabin over the weekend. My experience was highly satisfactory. The cabin was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay, including essential kitchenware and a fire starter kit. I eagerly anticipate my next vacation and envision the picturesque beauty of the changing foliage if the camping season were extended. It would be a delight to witness such a spectacle.

We got married at Camp Kettlewood on 9/21/24 and it was truly a dream come true. To start, Simona and Jeremy were wonderful to work with throughout the planning process. They were attentive to any questions we had and really supported us in all of our kooky ideas (like hosting a Highland Games rehearsal dinner, featuring a Scottish cow). The guests who stayed on site were enamored with their accommodations, and those just visiting from the hotel were impressed with how our "DIY campground wedding" came together as a dreamy affair. The scenery is truly gorgeous, and the sandhill cranes were honored guests. Simona and Jeremy have cultivated a relaxing environment that wraps you in Mother Nature's arms. We cannot wait to go back and spend a couple more nights at Tall Timber, maybe even host another round of Highland Games as a family reunion. Stay here. Book this place as your wedding venue.
