Camp LaNoChe has everything you could ever hope for in a camp. Plenty of Merit Badges, High Adventure, Extracurricular Games and Activities, both tent camping as well as sites with 5 Adirondacks Screened Cabins which sleep 6-10 per cabin. The food is good and the staff are very accommodating to special dietary needs, and the salad bar has evolved over the last few years and has become quite impressive. They have laundry facilities at the camp, medical staff, and plenty of camp rangers who all are ready to help when needed. There is a scout shop on site as well as a snack bar. They have two ‘winter’ camps each year. The staff is trained and highly motivated to provide scouts with a top notch experience.

Son attended winter camp 2024 as a provisional scout and he had an excellent experience. The camp hosted a great variety of outdoor activities, and had a nice dining hall and well equipped aquatics area (huge lake). The staff is wonderful to the kids.

Only draw back is there online sign up and info not the most user friendly and there not great a getting back to you right away when you call or email. The camp it self thou is one of the best i have ever been to and i have been to 6 summer camps in 6 different state. If you get a chance to go here make it happen.

The arrival at this place was beautiful, unlike anything I’d ever seen. The place is big, Definitely can’t run out of options of things to do. The water is beautiful, The facilities are mediocre, but they are there!! And for it being a camp I kinda think that’s a big deal. I’m not sure what that powwow was or how it was Native American, that was rather disappointing. However it was quite interesting to see that there is a great outlet for boys and girls of young ages to be able to Learn and obtain life skills that you cannot get from being indoors or on video games . I gave this place three stars because there was a tick problem there!!! please beware bring something to kill ticks because it’s a lot like Las Vegas There, were the herpes comes back with you..
