We love this place! We're full-time RVers in the last 3 months, and this is our favorite place so far. Everything is so well kept around the grounds. The sites are clean and easy to work with. No finagling of hoses, connections, and cords. The bathrooms are immaculate, and the showers are luxurious with the water pressure. They have a swimming pool that's well-maintained and a pavilion with corn hole and ping-pong. Staff are really nice as well. The area is away from Gatlinburg center, which i prefer, but is an easy drive to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Great Smoky Mountains. We highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.
Highly recommend! Great location just outside of Gatlinburg, not in the middle of the hustle and bustle but close enough that you can be anywhere in town within a few minutes. It is on the main highway into town and you will hear some road noise but it was not too loud. Very clean bathroom and shower facilities - much appreciated! They have a great camp store with reasonable prices if you forget anything - only open during the day. I like that it is not a huge resort; it is more peaceful and quiet than others. Love that they have both the charcoal BBQ and the fire ring - we used both. Love the ping pong table! Will be back for sure :)
Great little campground. We used this as a home base for exploring Gatlinburg and the Smokies so we didn't spend a TON of time at the campground. Its Nestled in a little valley, so even if you're in the center of the campground you still get shade late into the morning and early in the evening. One mention, the trolley stop into town is very convenient, right in front of the campground. However, there is no return stop on the other side, so you end up going to Greenbrier and back. Which after a long day seems like it takes forever. If I were to do it again i'd probably just park at the grocery store (I think Food Lion), just down the road. There are stops there on both sides of the parkway.
Nice clean and quiet smaller campground. Reasonable rates. Heated pool. Trolley stop is right in front of office. Staff was very friendly. We did have a black bear come right up to our camper door. We did avoid cooking outside as there were 3 or 4 reported sightings of black bear in the campground the week were there.
Make sure you are fully aware of the cancellation policy. Our son broke his arm and I notified them immediately that we would no longer be able to make our reservation time. We canceled soon enough for the remainder of our fee to not be charged, however the deposit that was placed they would not refund. They were even able to rent that space and still would not consider refunding. Double dipping!!! Just BEWARE!!!
