Amazing experience, cabins were great and facilities were great. The scenery can't be beat.
Wonderful setting and attentive, helpful camp hosts. We enjoyed the playing field, swimming hole, and having campfires. The cabins are comfortable but basic—bunk beds and storage shelves. If possible, attend church services on Sunday mornings!
It a great location, incredible staff, awesome setup. Only issue I saw was there is a road curve on the main and only road out there that goes between some of the cabins and the rest of the camp. Which logging trucks and others go through fairly quickly so be extra careful with young kids as they cross since it could be very hard to see them. Also you will be in the mountains surrounded by trees so don't expect cell service or even frs/gmrs radio to go far. For me that's kind of the appeal. Nice swimming, canoeing and kayaking, rock climbing walls, etc. Plus power with heated cabins with full kitchens and running hot and cold water all over. So even away from it all your not ruffing it at all. We used it for a family reunion and it was amazing, especially for the price. It is an LDS camp site so no drinking, smoking, or bikinis, so that could be a downer for some.
It is so good to hear that this camp still exists and carry’s on the spiritual enrichment tradition. As a YMCA camper starting in 1947 ( age 9 ) through 1955, I received my basic spiritual training and values in this beautiful location.
A very peaceful and serene place to go and become one with nature. Lots of trails to hike and a beautiful river to swim in during the summer. Beautiful cabins and lodges to rent for you family and groups activities.
