Camp Long Creek

We stayed in the “Hut” cabin. It was fine, very small, which we knew it was prior to arriving. The check in was easy, once we understood where to go. You check in during hours at the entrance. They do have a guard-shack there. The Huts are in clusters with a fire pit in the middle. They have s’mores kits in each cabin, along with fire starting kits. They have mini-split a/c units with controls on the wall. These huts have far too many kitchen cabinets in them. They should take some of those out and put a larger refrigerator in. These have tiny dorm fridges with a very small frozen box. I don’t think it even cooled our water. Bathrooms were very nice. A bench in the shower would be helpful. Bed was very comfortable, although a little awkward to get in and out of. It sits in the corner and has a platform its on. The platform allows a cubby under it for luggage storage. The windows had blinds and shutters on them, except for the Dutch door, which was cool. The door had a square window that did not have a shade. We stuck a wash cloth over it to keep light out. The bed area does have a curtain you can close, but then you don’t get the advantage of the a/c. Pool area was very nice. Infinity beach style pool overlooking Table Rock Lake. Pool towels at the pool. Long Creek marina is next to the pool. The only disappointing thing was the Camp Long Creek Cantina food truck was not available. Not given an explanation, just it wasn’t available. They have shuttles that you can request on the app or via a phone call. Shuttles come quickly and are a good way around Big Cedar. Camp Long Creek is an off site property that takes 7 or so minutes to get back to Top of the Rock area. Same to Big Cedar main property. Thunder Ridge Nature Arena is very close too.

Yurt was much better than expected. Dealt with at least two dozen employees in various capacities and all were super friendly and helpful. Shuttle service took us back and forth to multiple locations with little wait time and always affable.

Stayed in one of the glamping tents and it was so perfect! Can’t wait to come back 10/10 loved the aesthetic bed was super comfortable as well.. Paulette at the front check in booth was so friendly and just the sweetest person to be greeted by upon arrival!

The new staff that they have hear on. On the landscaping department has done a very bad job. And the one guy's his name can is Samuel Sammy. That I talked to and he said he was the head of it all.

Awesome experience! I stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin with my mom for Mother’s Day and it was perfect! The attention to detail across the entire property is amazing. My dog loved it as well. Great fenced dog park. Small beach for swimming.
