This place is awesome. This is the second year the company I work for has held our corporate retreat/off-site at. Camp Lucy is beautiful, well-maintained, and is just so chic. I've only ever stayed in the "Tree House" room at the back of the property, so I cannot comment on the others, but I know they are all spectacular from the talks of my coworkers. I look forward to returning with my family to eat at Tillie's, their on-site restaurant one of these days!
My recent stay at Camp Lucy was a big disappointment. The place is incredibly overpriced with numerous additional fees that keep piling up. The heating system in our room didn't work, and we had to be moved to another location, which was quite inconvenient. The attention to detail was extremely poor - there weren't even enough hangers in the closet. For the price they charge, you would expect a much higher level of service and amenities. Overall, it was a very underwhelming experience.
Camp Lucy is a dream! They thought of everything in these beautiful rooms! From extra large bath towels to wine glasses and robes. Pure comfort in the Texas Hillcountry! The property also has chickens and alpacas. You can feed the alpacas. The buildings are very old churches/townhall buildings shipped from Vietnam. Even the chicken house! Such a special place!
Had a fantastic stay at Camp Lucy for a family members wedding. The property is nestled back in the hills so it's relaxing and quiet. Great service from the staff at the office during check in and out. The restaurant staff at Tillies is top notch. The room was bright, clean, airy and refreshing. Totally recommend Camp Lucy for your next special event or just a few days away.
OMG Fabulous! If you love rustic charm, enjoy hiking and starry skies - this is for you! I visited for my daughter's wedding and it was beyond expectation! The staff was truly accomodating. They went out of their way to help with anything we needed! We stayed at the Tree Top Cottages. The views from the balcony were spectacular! In the early and cool hours of the morning, the early birds enjoyed a walk around the area while sipping on some hot coffee under a star-filled sky. The icing on the cake was the company of all the buzzing bees and butterflies that gathered around the beautiful flowers surrounding the property. The wedding was a blast! The DJ played all the songs that kept us dancing for a good while. The whole wedding was picture perfect and the staff went beyond what was needed to make sure we had a great time. Love this place!
