Beautiful place to camp! Fun hiking trails, mountain bike trails and even a creek to cool down in! We love it there. Camped there several times; we’ll definitely be back. Hosts are the nicest folks too!
We love Camp McFender! My family has stayed here several times, and it’s always a blast. Cooling off in the creek, fishing, biking, zip lining, there’s something for everyone to do. The hosts are phenomenal and think of everything; we are always in good hands when we camp here.
Fantastic property that offers lots of solitude, as well as opportunities for adventure on the property and nearby. The biking/hiking trails are my favorite way to spend a few hours in nature. Russ and Robin are great hosts!
Stayed there several times and we can't wait to go back again. Not far from Appomattox and Lynchburg. Hiking/biking trails on the property. Very close to the Carter Taylor trail. Plenty of sun up top and shade at the bottom so can be comfortable all year long. Great outdoor experience.
Great place to stay! On site mountain bike trails and they communicate great! Beautiful field and lots of wooded area with a year round creek to cool off:) Can’t wait to get back there!
