We recently stayed at this resort and unfortunately the facility was not at 100% due to the recent hurricanes, however everyone that we encountered was very friendly and helpful. The location is great, and the staff goes out of their way to ensure that your stay is up to or exceeds your expectations. We are already looking forward to our next stay there. Quiet, and close to all the local activities.
The campground is located kind of in the middle of a residential area. Sites were fairly roomy with concrete patios on each site. The staff was super friendly, sites were clean, restrooms were clean and always stocked. Lots of mom and pop bars/restaurants and little shops near by. One con - there are no fire pits at the sites. You have to bring your own. That’s not me mentioned on their website. To note - we visited not long after hurricane damage. There wasn’t any hot water and the laundry facilities were gone. Although, I wouldn’t let that stop me from visiting again. Great little campground!
This past weekend was our first stay at Camp N Water and we loved it. Very close to all the great hotspots! We enjoyed our stay and we'll be back.
Manager Christina is combative and argumentative. We tried to be very accommodating with all the R&R they have in place, anything they asked of us we did!! But management was not in the slightest bit accommodating, empathetic, or compassionate towards our situation. And to top it off, they charged us $100 for 4 towels (smaller than a standard bath towel) they claimed were ruined when those were the only towels provided for a stay 4+ days. Please, if you’re thinking of coming here make this a last resort option. There are so many other facilities with staff that will try to work with you so everyone has a good experience. And when looking at other reviews for here, please notice that in every response this place takes 0 accountability for anything. That in itself shows the business character.
This is your GO-TO campground for a getaway!! Very clean and peaceful location. Office staff, Christine and Teresa were very informative, answer all questions and did it with excellence. I have been recommended to this place by friends who have boats and RV’s and to say the least, exceeded my expectations! Will be coming back and recommending to everyone!
