This is a pretty neat place. It's right on the waters of Lake Roosevelt/ Colombia River. There were huge fish jumping all day and night. Some sounded like sturgeon. There were sounds of several different birds and of course the famous Loon, a nostalgic sound of nature. The camp host was very nice it is 25.00 per night for a camping spot there's an island right in front putting kids dock lots of picnic tables fire pits and stacked up logs for the fire. There is large covered eating area outside showers & bathrooms. Great place for the family or friends. It is where Corporate guys.com holds an annual board of directors meetings occasionally Own Nothing Control Everything - Asset protection 101.
Great camping spot for big groups. We came with 6 families for the 4th of July weekend. My wife and I ended up reserving the only cabin on site for $25 per night (cash or check only). The cabin was much nicer than what was described. It had lights and lots of outlets. It had cold running water in the kitchen with a range, refrigerator, and microwave (the cabinets are empty so bring all your own supplies for cooking and eating). There are two sperate buildings with men's and woman's bathrooms (only one of them has a hot shower). For the tent and RV camping sites they have a fire pit, free firewood, picnic bench, and hose bid. I was worried that we arrived around 9:00 pm but the camp ground host greeted us kindly and showed us to our cabin. They asked not to let our kids walk by themselves due to a local bear. Pack in pack out. We took our garbage to the Two Rivers casino 20 mins away and grabbed coffee each morning. Hope this helps!
Had a great time camping here!! Right next to the river.. lots of camping spots. Bathrooms with shower and hot water:)
We LOVED this camp. It was a great spot for our family until the managers showed their true colors..... My brother's family situation is not black and white like most relationships. When they found out he was in a Throuple, the way they treated us was so unwelcoming. My brother and his spouses never did anything inappropriate or rubbed it in people's faces the way they live. Steve and his wife never knew or saw anything. It was only brought up because we were paying at check out our first visit....... A camp trip later, we were having fun in camp site 8&9. My brother has a health condition called CVS cystic vomiting syndrome. Basically, his body shuts down. It is a disorder that causes recurrent episodes of nausea, vomiting, and tiredness. Our sister is his caretaker and helps him when he goes into these episodes. This trip, he started having a bad episode, and he was in the shower because the heat can sometimes help with the condition and "shock" his body out of it. our sister assists him as sometimes he gets dizzy and can pass out (he is clothed). Everyone at the camp could hear he was sick. His dry heaving was NOT quite. The camp manager Steve stopped my brother and sister as they were leaving the bathroom and started yelling at them, telling them that "we are not THAT kind of camp." And "we don't do that stuff here. " Didn't bother asking questions when he saw my sister was helping him walk out of the bathroom and to his vehicle or ask if he was okay. Just jumped to conclusions because of my brothers relationship. He made my brother feel so unwelcome and embarrassed about his health condition that he and my sister left and drove home, cutting our family trip short because he didn't want to be embarrassed again. His kids and spouses stayed to complete our camping weekend since this visit had been paid for in advance, and it was too late in the day to pack everybody up and go.. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN!
We love this camp! It’s an amazing place for kids and families and groups! We go every year!
