There are not multiple camping stops only one small one sometimes.. it is not the way to thebeach or the pier
We stayed here a couple of years ago. It's a great location by the pier. We camped across from a man who is a permanent resident there and he made us feel at home. He shared his property, his hammock and deck and his lawn games with us! Yes the bathrooms need an update but this is not Holiday Inn. This is camping and we had a GREAT time there.
It has been a wonderful experience. So much so that we have leased a permanent lot for our camper. Everyone here has made my wife and I feel like family. And we now have a second home ,right by the beach and Bogue inlet peir .
Love this family beach location at Emerald isle.
I will not be staying here again. Emerald Isle is wonderful but this campground is not! The sites are tiny, bath houses are falling apart and there is no soap in them to wash your hands. The owners, managers, and most permanent site residents of the campground are some of the rudest people I've ever met in my life. Don't plan on renting a golf cart either, they don't allow it. But the owners do have their personal golf cart. The only good thing I can say was the campground was clean for the most part and not a trashy place. We will be coming back to Emerald Isle, but never Camp Ocean Forrest! We stayed there eight days and they are very pricy for what you get.
