I was a counselor at Camp Oh-Neh-Tah back in 2000, and it was hands down one of the best experiences of my life. Seeing the camp back and thriving again is so heartwarming—I know firsthand the magic that happens there. Its wonderful to see it blossoming again and can’t wait to watch it continue for many more summers to come. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Organization needs to change the name. The girls who attend this camp but don't identify as girls but come to a girls' camp anyway are getting offended. It's really sad when you great the girls in the morning and you can't say, "Good morning girls!" but you have been told to say, "Good morning campers." is absolutely absurd. Ok, excuse me, could you please tell me which toilet to use? I need to take a she/it.
KOLA I had the BEST TIME OF MY LIFE the summers I shared at camp Oh Neh Tah. I laughed so hard , and made life long friends that I still keep in touch with. I had never been to camp and showed up there the summer of 1977 and kept coming each summer. We'd meet at the Gramercy Hotel in NYC each Dec. 28 th for Xmas get togeather. And Dec. 28 th is also my birthday. We counselors became family. I truly can't imagine not having them in my life. I TILL THIS DAY STILL SING THE CAMO SONGS. And woyld love to return this summer . id be the first one job to lead the singing before and after lunch. Yes Camp Oh-Neh-tah is a blessing to the campers we had a blast gathering around the totem pole each cabin mine was Chip Cherokee mine and Melanie as we would lead our girls to the ceremony with the huge bonfire and ring our tokens as a love and Devotion to the almighty Oneida Nation. And that would be fire word for the huge campfire we had
