Camp Pinedell is a privately (church) owned camp. There is a generator for electricity that is shut off each night. There are showers and bathrooms in a separate building. There is a very nice amphitheater. The lodge has a wonderful kitchen. It is mainly a girl’s camp.

Camp Pine Dell is absolutely amazing. Each cabin is toasty warm with a big fireplace, electricity, an upper level and lower level and bolted front door. The lodge is huge! It has electricity, two fireplaces, an industrial style kitchen, tables, and couches. We had a lovely time with our church group in the snow. We'll be back!

This private church camp is in the midst of beautiful Pine and Aspen. 15 degrees cooler than the valley so plan accordingly. It was perfect weather during the hot summer if '21. No cell service, power comes from a generator which shuts down at 10:30 pm and turns on at 6:30 am. Seven of cabins can easily sleep 20 people, but there are only 13-14 beds per cabin. Cabin #2 is smaller. Close to the kitchen, so our cooks slept there. The beds are wooden or metal so bring foam pads or your own cot. There are flat areas around cabin #5 for several tents, and cabin #3, has a little space also. There is a trailhead behind the camp, but it has not been maintained. Very large trees have fallen over the trail making it unusable. The closest hike is Pike's Peak (5 miles round trip). That trailhead is a half mile up the road (parking area just before pavement ends). The kitchen was roomy, walk in cooler and small freezer was more than adequate for our group. Gas appliances (3 ovens, 2 griddles, 4 burners). We had 150 people in our group, and I thought the camp accommodated us well. The lodge was big enough for of us. There are 4 picnic tables inside and we used 13 of the round tables to seat everyone else. There are two full rollers full of chairs. (Church kind) We did not use all of them. If the seating outside the lodge was used, groups of more than 200 could be fed at the same time. The bathrooms have 7 toilets and 8 showers. There are also additional restrooms inside the lodge. Men's and Women's.

I've been on several winter campouts to these cabins with groups of Boy Scouts. Though very cold outside, with the wood stove inside, we stayed comfortably warm. The camp was amazingly quiet with a dazzling and breathtaking canopy of stars in the sky above. This is an ideal location for families and youth groups.

Some of my best childhood memories took place in these cabins. I always went with my large extended family and every cabin was full. I shared a cabin with my cousins and had some great times. Many fond memories, would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to camp at. My family always went in the summer and it always had many activities.
