Kids enjoy reading the signs that talk about the animals and history. New kids play area is great too.

I've been there 2 times in the past 2 or so years. Aggressive stray dogs both times. 2 dogs the first time a couple years ago. Same single white Sheppard mix today. Nice place but aggressive dogs are no fun with your kids or pets. Last time I was told the dogs belong to homeless folks but it's the same well cared for dog with tags. I believe it lives threre?? Belongs to staff maybe?? Kind of weird the same dog would be there for years. Otherwise it's an awesome small park.

It is a beautiful place to hold a wedding! It's very spacious and accommodating! There are a lot of pretty places to take pictures! It is also one of the more affordable places to host a wedding. I was between Camp Pollock and a Winery that was very affordable, but wouldn't let us bring our own alcohol. The manager, Amy, was very responsive and helpful when I asked questions. It's between 2,500-4,500 for 12 hours, depending on what you want and how much room you need (courtyard / lodge). Which hourly, is pretty high. However, the outside was very dirty and unkept when we arrived. Trash on the ground, the garbage bins were full, multiple homeless walking through, a dog walked into the lodge during the wedding and there was bird poop on the benches/tables. We spent a lot of time blowing leaves and scrubbing bird poop before wedding setup. Also, the string lights on the outside are an extra cost of $175 to plug in, which is just ridiculous; Im sure the homeless are plugging them in every night. 10 tables were supposed to be provided and there were only 8 tables. We had to go buy two more tables from costco, the day of our wedding. The girls bathroom toilet also clogged up during the wedding. The outlets in the girls bathroom didn't work, so none of us could touch up our curls. It would have 5 stars if the outside was more maintained and we didn't have missing tables, random dogs walking into the lodge and multiple homeless roaming the grounds.

I stumbled upon this place when i was walking along the highway. A guy on a squidward bike told me the area flooded, so i think that's the reason all the gates were busted open, and everything looked abandoned. Saw a dude with two dogs flying a drone, the rest was soo desolate, the world might aswell revolve around that one man.
