This campground is perfect to be off the strip but very close to and easy to access. Big rig friendly. Very pet friendly. The staff are all friendly and knowledgeable. The bathhouse and laundry area are very clean. Always a place to feel at home to stay for a while. Trolley access. Can walk and explore a lot. Use the trolley to go more and the trolley to get back. Easy access to Gatlinburg and back to the campground. Walking distance of the stampede, several race tracks and putt putt. Several restaurants and even walking distance to the Old Mill and patriot park. Yes it is 1 mile but it is along the River and you are there in not time.

I rented Bear Tracks 2 for me and my three year old and it was perfect! So clean, very friendly and helpful staff, perfect central location right off the main road, and I got an immediate response from the owner about a question I had after hours. Best of all the camper sits directly on the river, and the owner should definitely update the listing pics to show that pretty view!

We stayed here this past week over Fall Break! It was our first stay at the campground and it was amazing! Their location is perfect! Right in the heart of Pigeon Forge and not far from Gatlinburg! We stayed Monday-Friday so we missed the weekend activities but the place was packed when we left Friday for the Halloween weekend! Playground was a great size for our almost 7 yr old. And the bathrooms were the BEST we’ve seen at any campground before! Laundry facilities were clean and easy to use also! We’re already planning our next trip! 🤩

We loved the spot we chose to camp by the river. The only negative was that campers do not clean up after their pets, and you have to watch where you step. I have a pet and I always pick up after her. It would be nice if others did the same.

We stayed here as we returned from a 9,500 mile trip to Newfoundland from California. It is a well maintained with beautiful shade trees on the Pigeon River. The bathrooms were recently renovated with ten separate shower/sink and toilet rooms. The laundromat in the same building is clean has room for sorting and folding. Also great for us it is within easy walking distance of restaurants and Dolly Parton’s Stampede, a wonderful dinner show.
