Such a great place to stay! Clean, hot showers, nice owners & so cute! Each site has a cute name and the park has soft lighted paths at night. There is Cacti all throughout the property, birds singing & it's beautifully curated. Will definitely stay there again!
Look no further. This is where you should stay. Michelle and Kim run a fantastic camp. They have put so much love and care into the details of making your stay comfortable! The campsites are spread out nicely, so you feel like you have privacy. In the Mercantile you can buy everything from snacks to local art (bring cash).
We absolutely LOVED camp saguaro!! The owners were SO friendly and helpful, and the entire campground was so beautiful and natural. The bathrooms were always clean and available, and the hot shower was soo nice to have. On demand hot water with great pressure. The location couldn’t have been better! You can tell how much love was put into this property. We booked for one night originally but after being there for an hour we were already booking for another night. We are so thankful we found camp saguaro! It was a magical stay. I will miss those beautiful sunsets! Thank you so much :)
Beautiful, clean, cute, convenient to the national park. My only warning is to watch out for the loose spines/cacti on the ground. I got stuck and our dogs got stuck multiple times (bring pliers just in case). I would bring dog shoes and wear only closed toe shoes. My other tip would be to come to camp before dark. Camp hosts friendly and accommodating. Good cell service for Verizon and T-Mobile.
So quaint, SO Functional and clean! Kim & Michelle have created a magical haven with piping hot showers, big kitchen sink, delightful common area with Adirondack chairs, a big wood fire bowl, picnic table and games Fire rings and round tables at each private site, what a fantastic option so close to Saguaro National Park and Tuscon Mountain. Update October 2024: This place just keeps getting better: excellent sites, great hot showers, clean as a whistle, phenomenal land. New this year Mercantile Store and laundry. Thank you Kim & Michelle for your inspired work creating a beautiful thing ❤️
They don't follow their own rules. What we thought would be a peaceful trip has been unpleasant and with one night left here, we are looking for somewhere else. The rules say no more than 6 people to a site yet 7 cars and a boy scout troop are parked next to us. There are two toilets for the whole property, with a message that says you can dump your sewer waste in them, just clean up afterwards....and there are no cleaning agents available. You can see splashes all over the toilets. Says no tobacco allowed but our tent was filled with Marijuana smoke and then someone smoked a cigar. Right next to the boy scouts.
