Great location with great management. Super friendly people running this place, the campsite was spacious and clean, they had hot showers but only outhouses for bathroom would be my only complaint..
FANTASTIC!!! We have been here several times and every experience has been incredible. We have gone with and without our 4 kids. We camped in a spot where we could hear the creek at night. Loved it! Across the street from the barn where you turn to get to Graeagle. It's at the end of the rest stop spot. Google maps is accurate.
This campground is a work in progress. Nice spots to pitch a tent. There is a nice creek close by. Some sites are right next to the creek. It is billed as having bathrooms and showers. 'Bathrooms' are those outdoor potty boxes. 'Showers' are one. Primitive outdoor dressing room and shower room are separate. You have to go outside and around to get from one to the other. Shower head is like a camper shower head. There is no potable water directly available. You have to go into town, we went to the gas station in Graeagle. Lots of great restaurants. Try Gumbas ll in Blairsden. Awesome pizzas and sandwiches. Highly recommended. Pretty close is Plumas-Eureka State Park. Lots of great hikes. And the campground there has awesome sites, has real toilets, and nice showers!! And it's cheaper!!! Reservations recommended. All in all, we had a comfortable spot. Hosts were very nice. We went to town for the bathroom and had a local friend that hosted our showers. I will go back and see what improvements have been made. I hope they do the campground justice with providing nice facilities and access to water.
Awesome place to camp. Great people own this. Lots of spaces and it's quiet.
My stay was probably 1 star versus 3 but I want to balance it out. This place is great for trailers, not tents! It was very expensive for being in a car parking spot. Don't go there if you have a tent. No flat area, no table, no camping table.
