Pros: Cheap prices. Cons: Extremely early checkout time when compared to literally any other hotel in existence. My graduation was at 0900. Yet checkout was 0830. Despite this, the hotel blatantly refused to offer an extension for checkout and would not budge on this issue. As a result, not only did I have to find an alternate facility to change out of my dress uniform after graduation, but I was forced to leave my personal belongings unsecured in the bed of my truck for almost two hours. The hotel parking lot was NEVER even close to full the entire time I stayed there, so refusing to let me have an extension was just unreasonable.

This review is for Officer Bounds, at the South Gate Entrance. Ms. Bounds, displayed an AGGRESSIVE attitude for NO reason towards me, my daughter, and her friend girl. She made me feel like, I was going to be Shot. By the way she was acting for no apparent reason. Yes, that is the way I felt, due to the way things escalated on her part. She asked, “do I need to call the (______), on duty?” I said go ahead but for what. I did not even say anything to you, and you asked me what’s it with the attitude? Ms. Bounds, does not need to be in that position, she is bad for the environment, and very negative. Also, when her supervisor showed up, and I was talking to him. My daughter’s friend said she could see her laughing. Well when you are dealing with people on a daily basis with a gun and authority. You need to take your job seriously because you were trained to do so, I HOPE. Thank you, Daryl Jones My wife (Karen Trosclair-Jones), and I stayed on base the night of 12/20/2024 . Arrived at approximately 11:15PM.

Overall the rooms in the two older barracks buildings are in great disrepair and should've been updated a long time ago. The exterior doors on the rooms allow the outside elements in, and the walls are not insulated; you can hear your neighbors' conversations. There was an apparent cockroach infestation, as many were spotted throughout my 25-day stay. The shower tiles are cracked, and there was no indication that the shower floor or walls had been cleaned for months or longer. The caulking around the sink is corroded and eroding. The mattresses are best compared to sleeping on the ground and should be replaced. The rooms in the two older buildings in no way meet the standards required to charge for billeting. It is no mistake that all Air Force Soldiers stay in the new building, as they would be authorized substandard living reimbursement for being forced to lodge in the older buildings. It is time for an overhaul of the buildings or demolition, and new construction must occur—unacceptable living conditions.

Bed was comfortable. Desk and chair, extra side table and chair, and a lounge chair! Plenty of dresser and closet space for one person. Shower is a little small, but not inconvenient. The staff is very attentive and thorough. Always had towels, bed made and new soap and toilet paper. What I noticed the most though, is the AC works perfectly! Not like other military lodging facilities, where you get a 2-4 degree range to work with. You can make your room 65 or 75 degrees. Laundry on site, common area with TV, plenty of parking (although the spaces are small) and close to the PX.
