There are a few homeless who frequent the campsites, though all I met were decently clean and kept to themselves. I mention this for those who may have young children and have a concern. Discover pass needed, warden comes round twice a day to check in. Busy on the weekends but was able to score a spot around 11 am Saturday without trouble. Lots and lots of ATV noise, so know this what to expect upon arrival. ;) Seems relatively empty during the week. Dog friendly. Firewood for sale at local QFC for $7 a bundle. No water on site, no trash. Pack it in and pack it out, baby!
Awesome place to camp. Choose another camp ground if you don't like the sound of quads and bikes at 2 in the morning, because chances are you will here them at 2 in the morning. After all it is a campsite with tons of trails for those exact purposes. Kid friendly lovely creek to dip in on a hot day. Trails for all skill levels. So far everyone I've met out there had been friendly. Campsite are free first come first serve pack it in pack it out. No water but does have a toilet. As for the camp spots themselves, they are large plenty big for a small toy hauler or trailer and large tent and screen room. Way bigger than most camp sites. This will now become a regular spot for us.
This has been the first time google Maps has misdirected me. Took over an hr to figure out how to get there being that cell service was limited in the area. It directed me to within 1/4 mile and there was closed gates. The directions took me there from. The south east and should have been from the north west.
Super fun place to go dirt biking and for buying off-roading mudding lots and lots of miles worth of Trail up there to explore the campground is amazing right on the river
Great atv trails! 4x4 trails are fun with rock gardens. Quad and bike trails cover many miles. Camping requires Discover pass but no other additional fee. On long weekends it is best to go on Wednesday night to get a spot.
