Beautiful campground and the site is very clean. There are some more spacious areas without trees that you can tent in. There are hiking trails around the back of the roads. But the bath house is okay and it isn’t too clean so I didn’t want to take a shower here.
Nice group campground. Road access into camp is not obvious (I ended up turning into fire station). Campsites are very nice, tons of trees and ample places for tents. The comfort station has flush toilets, sinks, and showers (with hot water). Comfort station could use some maintenance, but everything worked. Fire rings and grills in good shape.
Camped here for cubscouts. Their sites are spread apart that gives the campers a more secluded, in the woods feel. Bathrooms are a bit far, but clean and having 4 stalls inside. There wasn't a big field to play large group games. Parking was limited.
Great place to camp with Scouts - we loved it!
I first camped at Camp Wilson in 1966 as a Boy Scout. In the last 21 years, I've camped there at 25 times. Our troop really enjoys that camp ground.
