Was reluctant to stay here, glad we did. RV Spots are pretty close to each other, but we got full hook ups, 30 and 50 AMP choices. Would love to stay in our RV down by the lodge next time.
The area is beautiful but the house was sub par as far as being stocked with supplies. The carpet was all ripped up and the kitchen cabinets were broken 😢
Beware of the $20 rules if you do not comply. Cabin was decent, but half empty. Minimal furniture. The sofas were very comfy and the views were great. Unfortunately the rollaway bed still had dirt on it. A lot of things seemed worn down and worn out. Would not stay a second time unfortunately.
We stayed in a fully furnished mountain home, the kitchen was big, the bed was a king size and the unit had a huge deck. The place was very clean and the people are very nice.
We stayed in RV spot #1 and loved it. Large mature trees provide ample shade (not all spots are shaded). Good utilities. Excellent access to McKenzie River Trail and its many waterfalls. Was able to mountain bike from Clear Lake all the way to the RV. (20 miles). It is close to Proxy falls and many hikes beyond it. We loved it. However, there is no connection to the outside world, so take that into account. No internet, no cell, no TV. In other words, camping! We did not take advantage of Belknap Hot Springs, although the staff there seemed very welcoming when we checked in. We simply had too many other things to explore.
