We've stayed in hundreds of campgrounds around the lower 48 states over the last 5 years and Campers Haven is definitely in my top 5. It's a beautiful campground, our spot had tons of room, the campgrounds are beautifully maintained, the indoor pool is heated to the perfect temperature, very beautiful and unique. Lots of room for dog walking, a huge disc golf area that's also beautifully maintained. We have a class A and used 30 amp. We didn't have any issues because the weather was cool and breezy not needing the A/C in June. The office staff is nice and accommodating. We had to stay longer due to a slide problem. I would definitely recommend. Just a short drive from Port Austin and if you golf, Verona Hills GC course is beautiful and a lot of fun to play.

This is the perfect spot for family camping. As soon as we checked in and I saw how clean and well stocked the camp store was, I knew we found a good place lol they even have hand dipped ice cream in there. And coffee!! We were given a map and a list of the amenities we could purchase for a small charge like canoe/kayak rentals, putt putt golf, etc and a map of where our site was. We noticed as we drove it was very clean and quiet. Our site was spacious enough and we appreciated the quiet time enforced at 11pm. We’ve been to camp sites where people are loud all night and that’s not fun with kids. They have a very large playground with different size structures for all ages, a catch and release pond where my daughter caught 2 huge largemouth bass and a big bluegill, a heated indoor pool, etc. Definitely recommend this place!

This was our first time at Campers Haven but certainly not the last! We took our four small children and stayed at site 67. We couldn’t have chosen a better site! The playground was in perfect proximity so the kids could play while my husband and I sat by the fire. We mentioned several times how quiet the campground was, nobody was up loud at night keeping our babies up, we hardly saw any drinking/partying going on. It was truly just quality family time had by all. The bathrooms/showers were clean and the staff were all very pleasant. On our last day, I walked up to the camp office and changed my reservations for our next visit to stay an extra day because we had so much fun this time I knew we’d want to stay longer next time!

Awesome little escape from the everyday. Although most people are in rvs or campers this location has the perfect tent sites!!! That's what we stayed in, had no issues doing so. Pricing was reasonable, staff was friendly. No issues whatsoever. We did encounter a cat (who I so wish I could of taken) who seems to have made its way to the property. She was friendly, so sweet, but I don't think she belongs to anyone there. Bathrooms were clean. Showers are private and seprate from toilets which was awesome when helping to wash littles. The activities for the kids/family were an added bonus. I appreciate that they had free activities & the ones we paid for weren't too costly, so we were able to do all we wanted. The hiking path is a plus too. They've literally got everything you need for a vacation spot. The only thing I will say negative is those seats in the handicap showers (they just look 🤮). Lots to do nearby for exploring. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back again in the future. Campers haven has been added to our regular visits list! Thanks for a great camp week. Happy 4th of July.

Rented one of the cabins for the weekend and had a good time. The cabin was beautiful and clean. The beds were very comfortable and easily fit 5 people in the cabin. There is mention that the cabin rental included a 6 person dinnette, but upon asking I was told that there were no plates, etc included. There was a fan, air conditioner, mini fridge, microwave and cable TV. So, one small miss, but overall a lot of amenities provided. The fire pit outside was great and there were two perfect trees to hang a hammock. The bathrooms were clean and the showers decent. The bathrooms were cleaned multiple times a day. You could rent pedal karts, play mini golf, eat ice cream, play ultimate frisbee, and many other activities. There is a pool which looked nice, but was often full of kids. The beach area was pretty, but no one was ever swimming in it. I would have given 5 stars, it was a lot of fun and the workers were friendly. However, there were A LOT of big campers. People were constantly driving by in their golf carts and large trucks. Ruined a bit of the woodsy magic. Overall, lovely busy campground.
