Camper Village RV Park provides a basic RV camping experience with a primary focus on accommodating monthly workers. Its proximity to the Ark Encounter makes it a convenient stop for travelers visiting the attraction. However, the park has received mixed reviews regarding cleanliness and site spacing. While it offers amenities like a dog run and playground, the overall experience is described as functional rather than luxurious.

Environment:

The campground is situated on multiple levels on hills, offering level sites that can accommodate larger RVs. The environment is described as functional, with a significant number of full-time campers. The park is located near the interstate, resulting in noticeable traffic noise. The dog run and playground are positive features, providing recreational options. However, cleanliness is a concern, with reports of dirty bathrooms and unemptied trash. The sites, particularly 1-5, are extremely close, with sewage hookups very near to neighboring campers. The park seems to focus on long term residents, which might make some short term visitors feel uncomfortable.

Promotional Information:

Camper Village RV Park in Dry Ridge, KY, offers a convenient location near the Ark Encounter. Features include a dog run, playground, and level sites. However, reviews mention cleanliness issues, close sites, and interstate noise. Primarily serves monthly workers. Bathrooms were dirty. Clump of hair in shower, trash in stalls had not been emptied in lately. Out of paper towels. Sites 1-5 extremely close. Our sewage was only 6 feet from the next camper’s front door. You could hear the interstate traffic. Several cabins and campers were full timers—it made me feel uncomfortable. The bright spot was the camp host— she as very nice. Check in after 3PM and check out by 10AM. We had planned on visiting the Ark Experience while traveling through KY on our way home. This was the closest campground to the Ark. we checked in shortly after 3, set up camper and had 1 hr to visit. I don’t understand reasoning for the short time frame except saving on electricity. When I asked why the only Office staff said she had to mow. Grass must grow quickly if they mow every day. Not a lot of grass except by dog run. I think they need more help. Little campground with multiple levels on hills. Mostly monthly workers. Great dog run and cute playground. Level site and long enough to accommodate our 34’ 5th wheel and extra vehicle.

We stayed in the RV park. Rebecca the manager was helpful and gracious. The RV park was 5 miles from The Ark Encounter, and an easy drive there. Restaurants and a Walmart were convenient to the RV Park. The pull-thru space accommodated our 36’ motorhome and a towed vehicle. The space was gravel - we did have to use our shims to level it. 50 amp, water, and sewer were available to us. We would stay there again. And the unexpected snow was a plus to us South Texans!

We stayed in our 34ft DP Class A with dinghy. Originally were in site seven, a very nice back in site. Just a little low in the back - a Class A concern - but not enough to be a problem. Sites separated and vegetated enough for a feeling of privacy and a nice view with morning coffee. Pleasant walking to lake and back. WiFi provided good streaming. Trees prevented satTV. Not a drawback for us. Clean laundry. Didn't use the showers. Due to a propane issue we needed to extend one day. Although the park was full, the staff were very accommodating and managed to put us in site 3, a pull through. A nice location and very convenient for our early morning departure. Small criticism - site 3 was low on the passenger side. Almost too low, and we boondock often. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, and highly recommend. Has a more homey, family, "camping" feel the pickleball and Saturday nite pinochle crowd may not appreciate. On our list of favorites.

Nice little RV Park. The folks that run the park are extremely helpful and nice. They are doing their best. However, the park is in dire need of TLC. There are lots of folks who appear to live there full time. Stayed @ Site 12, a full hook up, gravel back-in site. Gravel sites are okay, but could use some leveling. Owner happened to be at office. She directed us to our site and reviewed the hookups. Really rough roadways throughout the park. Nicely located to Harbor freight, Cracker Barrel, gas stations etc. Close to Ark Encounter and close to major roads that go to the Creation Museum. Major interstate noise (ran fan and A/C to cover the noise). Laundry was available. Park was easy to get in to and out of. Good for an overnight stop over or to visit nearby attractions. We camped at Camper Village RV Park in a Travel Trailer and I doubt well ever go back.
