We have had a seasonal site elsewhere in Cook Forest for 13 years. Moved to Campers Paradise last summer (2023) and couldn’t have made a better decision! Management makes or breaks a campground and I can truly say, Cortnee & Greg make the place amazing. The hard work they put into the place, the professional way they handle things, the awesome activities that are planned, etc are top notch!! Could not ask for better management and they are super friendly and accommodating. The owners sure lucked out with this great couple!!

It was okay. The bathrooms were closed for maintenance so we had to go in the woods, had trouble finding our spot with the map provided as there wasn't any signage pointing to different parts of the site so we had to circle a few times... and the owners weren't answering the phone number provided, and they didn't give us the WiFi password and didn't respond to phone or email requesting it. Office and outpost were closed. The picnic tables were not usable as they were propped up against a tree and I couldn't get them down on my own. I'm sure it's better in summer season!

Lovely wooded location in the Cook Forest. We are from CA and found the host staff friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The store is loaded with goodies. We luckily got a pull through site with full hookups. Not sure how many there are but I think we got lucky. We stayed after Labor Day and the campground was quiet and peaceful. There were lots of outdoor activities including a very nice pool, basketball, born hole and volleyball. The shower was really dirty and there wasn’t laundry from what I could tell but I loved it there.

A nice location in a well kept campground that holds a lot of good memories. Very high prices and small campsites. I recommend going with friends and booking sites beside each other.

Update response: The main point of my review was the way you treated me and spoke to me. It’s not about “policy”. After reading many other reviews here, it seems like it may be something that you need to work on if you want to keep paying customers coming to your campground. Again, a kind conversation goes a lot further than a disrespectful conversation which is what I experienced when talking with you. Funny how there was no mention of your “disrespectful attitude” in your reply. (photo of response since it was deleted.) It’s unfortunate that I must leave a 0-star review before I have even had the chance to check-in to this campground. We had a family emergency come up and are unable to come for the weekend that we have booked so I called a week in advance and asked if I would be able to postpone our trip 3 weekends out, coming the beginning of Sept rather than mid-August. I was told that a manager would call me back on Monday. I called at lunch time on Monday since I hadn’t heard from anyone and the manager lady that I spoke with was rude and not willing to work with our family at all. She lied and stated that they had turned campers away because we had our site booked however, when looking at their availability online, there are many of the same sites that we had booked open for the weekend we have scheduled. She was talking over me, not allowing me to speak, was very rude and is most certainly in the wrong profession if she doesn’t want to have a listening ear and/or compassion for another human being. I get that rules are rules and policies are in place for a reason however, they are not sold out this weekend and what harm would moving our PEAK SEASON reservation to a NON PEAK SEASON reservation hurt? I didn’t ask for a refund, I simply asked for a date change due to a family emergency. She didn’t care and didn’t even want to listen to me. I DO NOT recommend this campground to anyone based solely on their lack of customer service. It could be the best campground in the state of Pennsylvania but when they lack customer service and courtesy, that puts them last on the list for me and my family! Stay away, book elsewhere!

My first time staying at Campers Paradise and we loved it!! This camp site has such a fun and relaxing camping experience. The camp ground itself is very wooded which is hard to find. Has a small game room and a pool. Bathrooms were clean and well taken care of. They have a small site store that offers almost everything you could need, and a small pizza and ice cream shop which was very delicious. My only real compliment is what most camp grounds are doing nowadays to squeeze a few extra bucks out of you is the lock in fee and the fee to choose your own spot. Over all we loved it here don't change!!!!
