Customer Reviews
This is definitely one of my favorite campsites now, the location is great for all kinds of summer activity, we hiked and checked out Crested Butte for the afternoon. Having firewood was great and the bathrooms were truly the cleanest I've been in - campground or otherwise! Hosts were all super friendly and it was great to know someone was there if we needed anything. Already looking forward to booking a weekend next year!
We stayed overnight in preparation of hitting the trails the next morning. The campsites were relatively private, level and came equipped with a fire ring pit, picnic table and charcoal grill. The vault toilet was very clean. The only downside was the distance of the campsite from the parking lot. Thankfully they provided wheel barrels we could use to transport our camping gear. Some bonuses we encountered were the unlimited firewood for a campfire, fresh aquifer water and a free pancake breakfast on Sunday morning. Andrew was a phenomenal greeter and host and came by to make sure we had everything we needed before ending his shift for the night. We will definitely be staying here again.
We have been to campfire ranch the last 4 summers and have always had an amazing experience! The staff is awesome and so friendly and helpful. The extra supply’s for rent and unlimited firewood is hard to beat. We will definitely be back next summer!
We went with a friend group and their kids and had a great time. The kids had so much fun exploring the different areas of the campground. And the adults got to relax as our tents, sleeping pads, etc had all been set up prior to our arrival. The bathroom was clean and well maintained. Wyatt was super friendly checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed and Keenan let us know about some fun local events going on in town. You won’t regret your stay at Campfire Ranch and we will definitely be back!
This was our first time camping, and staying at Campfire Ranch was amazing. Not only were the sites clean, provided a good amount of space to get settled with even a decent amount of gear, and in a beautiful, idyllic spot, but the staff were amazing, welcoming, friendly, and were willing to go the extra mile to help make our stay enjoyable. The gear we rented was clean and good quality, and the bathrooms were practically spotless. The water from the pump tasted clean and fresh, and the grounds felt safe enough that we left our stuff when we went on a hike and didn't worry about it being stolen. We'll be returning, and next time we'll be bringing friends so that they too can enjoy this amazing campground!
What a great weekend. We loved this campsite. While it is near a road, the traffic is light and the place still feels secluded. They provide wheelbarrows to haul your gear, give you a welcome gift with pins, granola bars, and coupons, and offer rentals for anything you forget. The staff was super helpful, offering tips on hikes in the area, and they even had a sauna on property. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained and they include as much firewood as you need free of charge! We'll definitely be back. So glad we chose Campfire Ranch for our first camping experience.
