Couple of days camping with extended family. Huge back in sites in the area we were at. The water hookup had good pressure but the water smelled like well water. All other amenities for the campers were excellent and well thought-out. The beach was nice, clean and during our time very open. The facilities were laid out well and it is obvious that some careful planning had gone into the setup there. Would like to go back sometime. I would recommend for anyone looking for a nice place to camp with minimum hassle and lots to do.
Great swimming lake, shallow with not a lot of fish or vegetation. Sites are large and open, trees are small but growing so not to many shade. Many activities for the family and a well stocked store. No bathhouse just porta John’s near the beach area. Peastone sites which is good for drainage but creates dust, especially from golf cart traffic. Water is VERY hard and definitely need some filters on your camper Able to swim, kayak or dock your boat from lakefront sites. Only trolling motors allowed. It’s a great full hookup campground for the family
Great place to relax and enjoy the day. Rent a spot for your trailer or rv...stay awhile. You can also rent paddle boats and paddle boards. I suggest if you bring your own raft, put a rope on it and around your wrist so it doesn't float away. The rope off area is maybe 3 ft deep beyond that gets deeper, it a Man made lake outta a stone Cory. There's trailers for walking/at riding also places to fish. **NO ALCOHOL *** on the beach area.
Perfect place for family fun. There is plenty for the kiddos to do. The new sites are huge and a bit bare. But they have trees 🌳 planted, and in a couple of years, they will be shady spots. We had an enjoyable Halloween themed weekend.
I really enjoy this campground the beach area is really nice and the golf cart rides down the trails are great. The playground is really great for the kids. The store is nice and has reasonable prices. The only downside are the sites, they are pea gravel and are not very long so when the campground is full parking a trailer can be difficult.
