Nice spot to camp in a RV. This place is out there, last 3 miles off side road is gravel, well maintained. Folks who run ranch are very nice. Wifi is OK. We spend a week plus and explored the Big Bend area. Hiked Christmas Mountain
it’s wild with traces of civilization
We stayed here for two nights visiting Big Bend. This campground is quite a bit off track 16 miles from the highway three of which are a gravel road that's on the bumpier side. We stayed at a tent side which didn't have its own water spigot but water was available at the bathhouse not that far away. The location offers a very nice big pool and a sun deck. They have a restaurant and laundry facilities on side. Toilets and showers were clean and spacious with decent water pressure and nicely hot water though no detachable shower heads. WiFi was available and fast but didn't properly reach the campsites or the pool. The price was amazing. We paid 8 dollars per person per night including showers and pool access. It was also very quiet and empty. A nice getaway off the beaten track. Be careful planning your day activities though there is little to do within one hour of driving. As the property points out when booking the closest gas is available at study butte and Alpine both quite a bit away. Come filled up!
